Rules (pupils must follow)

  • We always keep hands, feet and unkind words to ourselves
  • We always follow instructions straight away
  • We always listen to the person selected to speak
  • We always look after our classroom and belongings
  • We are thoughtful and respectful to others

Rewards (for positive/good behaviour)

  • Non-verbal praise (smile, thumbs up etc.)
  • Verbal encouragement and praise
  • Tangible rewards (Merit stickers, smiley faces, ‘Good news’ notes to take home)
  • Being sent to another teacher for further praise and encouragement
  • Being sent to the Headteacher to receive a special merit certificate and sticker
  • Being chosen as Star of the Week by the class teacher
